At the primary level
Educating Towards Global Knowledge
The "Educating Towards Global Knowledge" curriculum at the primary level aims to equip students with the necessary skills to communicate effectively in both Thai and English languages. This includes developing critical thinking, mathematical abilities, and technological literacy to enable students to acquire knowledge independently. Additionally, the curriculum enhances students' 3R skills (Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic) and fosters the development of the 4Cs skills:
1. Critical thinking (problem-solving),
2. Creativity (thinking outside the box),
3. Collaboration (effective teamwork),
4. Communication (expressing ideas and thoughts effectively)
Active Learning is used to teach and facilitate learning, allowing students to develop critical thinking skills and recognize the value of what they are learning. This approach is different from traditional learning methods and aims to make student learning in the 21st century more qualitative. As a result of this approach, students' academic achievement is commendable, with an average score higher than the national level in four subject groups in the national educational test (O-NET). Furthermore, the curriculum encourages students to exhibit desirable characteristics such as diligence, thriftiness, honesty, discipline, politeness, cleanliness, harmony, and consideration.
